In the Media Center, 4th and 5th Grade students created Public Service Announcements to share with others to show understanding of how to be a good digital citizen. Students learned about Cyberbullying and online safety. Students were given a choice of how to create their PSA. The following comic was created by a 5th Grade student.
In the Media Center, 1st Grade students gathered information and collaborated with peers to determine why their assigned animal should not check out library books. Students then took a picture of their collaboration board and posted it on Linoit.com to share with their classmates.
During their Media Lesson, 2nd Grade students learned how to stay safe on the internet. They collaborated in groups to write or illustrate 3 rules about online safety: Always ask permission to go online, only talk to people you know, and only go on websites that are just right for you!
Mrs. King's 2nd Grade students used an iPad to read an ebook on jellyfish and view pictures of jellyfish to create these beautiful projects. Mrs. King used PicCollage to share her project with parents.
